NEET 2021: Counselling will come very soon- Says NTA

 

The National Testing Agency has conducted the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test 202, on September 12, and released its score card on November 1. Now the NTA is declaring that the further process of medical admission will be started very soon, probably in one week itself. The counseling for MBBS and BDS courses will be carried out by the respective authorities, based on the rank scored by all students in All India level. 

The Agency statement informs that the candidates can apply for both central and state level counseling, based on their choices and All India Rank. The statement further clarifies that NTA will have zero role in the making corrections in the data related to the process.  The official release states that the candidates must mention their category in the state category list, and the counseling will be held under state bodies for counseling. The final list of admitted students will be made by the authorities of counseling like, DGHS, Medical Education Directorates of States, and so on. Further details about counseling, like schedule will be available through the official website of Health and Family Welfare Ministry, and in that of Medical Education Directorates of States.

The counseling and final admission will be made based on the guidelines given by National Medical Commission. The admission will be mainly based on the scores received in the NEET 2021 exam. The eligibility for courses, documents required etc. will be updated on the websites of all colleges, according to their concerned authorities. The verification of submitted documents is also vested in the hands of those concerned authorities.  NTA will have no hand in the verification of documents and in making the admission list.

We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
