Courses Available

The university offers 28 undergraduate programs in the fields of Arts, Social Science, Cybersecurity and behaviour, Social work, Anthropology, Criminal and community justice, International Studies, Laws, Tourism management, Communication, Community and social development.

The 32 postgraduate courses are available in the areas of Arts, Social work, Philosophy, Education, Psychotherapy and counselling, Social Science, Urban Management and Planning, Creative music etc.

Campus Location

Western Sydney University is a multi-site university with campuses spread across Greater Western Sydney.

  • Parramatta and Parramatta City campuses have two sites, a heritage-listed parkland style campus in Rydalmere on the banks of the Parramatta River and city-based urban campus in the centre of Parramatta’s lifestyle and business district.
  • Penrith campus is located on the bushland western edge of the Sydney metropolitan area, at the foot of the Blue Mountains near the Nepean River.
  • Bankstown campus is located on 22 hectares in the southwestern suburb of Milperra.
  • Liverpool campus is our brand new, state-of-the-art city-based urban campus in southwestern Sydney.
  • Campbelltown campus is located on a beautiful semi-rural campus at the southwestern edge of Sydney in the suburb of Macarthur.
  • Hawkesbury campus, the largest and most ‘farmland’ style campus of the University, is located on 1,300 hectares in northwestern Sydney near the outer Sydney suburb of Richmond, adjacent to the Blue Mountains and located about 80 minutes by train from Sydney’s downtown.
