MCC has issued a notice regarding NEET 2022 Counselling

The MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) has released a notice on 6th of October about change of nationality of the candidates from Indian to NRI. It can be done by submitting accurate documents. The MCC has mentioned about the documents requirement for submission in the official website mcc.nic.in. The candidates who want to modify can send the related documents through mail id i.e. ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com.

The official notice states that “It is for the information to all the candidates that those who are claiming to be NRI as per the directions/orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case (W.P. (C) No.689 /2017- Consortium of Deemed universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Anr. Vs. Union Of India & Ors.) dated 22-08-2017 (Copy enclosed), such candidates should send their relevant documents as mentioned below, in support of their claim to change nationality from Indian to NRI through email ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com from 10:00 AM of 7th October, 2022, (Friday) till 10:00 A.M of 11th October, 2022 (Tuesday).”

The documents that need to be submitted by 11th October are as follows:

  • 1.Documents stating that the sponsorer is a NRI i.e. Passport, Visa of the sponsorer.
  • 2.The documents needed to state relationship of NRI with the candidate according to the court orders of The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in case W.P.(c) No.689 /2017 -Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Ans.Vs Union of India & Ors. dated 22-08-2017.
  • Need documents for affidavit of the sponsorer stating that he or she will sponsor in the whole programme of the particular course.
  • Candidate’s NEET Score Card.
  • Embassy Certificate i.e. Certificate from the Consulate.

    We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
