The University was set up in 1998 by the Government of Delhi under the GGSIPU Act 1997. With the amendment of the act in 1999, the University came to be recognized by the UGC. The University stands to work with quality training in fields of designing, innovation, the board considers, medication, nursing, schooling and law. Affiliated institutes:

On the connection front, 02 Schools of Studies, to be specific, School of Engineering and Technology and School of Medicine and Para Medical Health Sciences and are motivated and provided leadership roles.
