Every state has its own set of rules and regulations for the grant of certificates. This certificate allows a person to enjoy his/her rights of living in that particular state. For Punjab, the certificate is issued only to a person who is a permanent residence or their parents are permanent residence of Punjab. A person can apply through online mode or offline mode for this certificate. While applying a person may need documents like an Adhar card/Pan card, Passport size photo, Proof of address like electricity bill, etc. For an online application, a person can visit the official website of the state and browse through the website for the desired service.
