INTRODUCTION OF HERTFORDSHIRE UNIVERSITY

The University is the UK‘s leading business-facing university and an exemplar in the sector. It is innovative and enterprising and challenges individuals and organisations to excel. Over the past two decades the University of Hertfordshire has been developing a global network of academic partners with collaborative partnerships in countries across Asia, Europe and North America. Currently around 5,000 students are studying University of Hertfordshire qualifications in partner institutions in the UK and overseas.  Recognition and articulation agreements have been put in place with a number of colleges and universities, both locally and internationally, that facilitate student progression to University of Hertfordshire programmes after completion of qualifications at a range of partner institutions.

RANKING OF HERTFORDSHIRE UNIVERSITY

The University’s School of Pharmacy has been awarded full Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain accreditation. In the Times Higher Education ranking of most international universities in January 2015, Hertfordshire ranks 84th in the top 100 in the world. In The Guardian University Guide 2016 the university ranks 94 out of 116 UK universities. The university is currently ranked 76th out of 127, by the Times/Sunday Times University Guide, for modern university rankings. According to the National Student Survey, the University of Hertfordshire has a score of 82 out of 100, for overall student satisfaction.

CAMPUS LOCATION OF HERTFORDSHIRE UNIVERSITY

The University of Hertfordshire is located in Hatfield, just 25 minutes by train from London’s King’s Cross station and within easy access of the A1(M). The two sites, College Lane and de Havilland, are situated less than a kilometre apart. A network of pathways, cycle routes and handy shuttle buses connects the sites.
