State domicile rules to get 85% state quota seats in Tamil nadu for MBBS:
Let us study thoroughly about the domicile certificate. This certificate can be secured from the local authorization (principally from the Tehsildar office) or the village administrative department. The domicile certificate is the truth of a statement of a person’s unchanging habitation. The approval standards for this certification deviate from state to state. In Tamil Nadu, the domicile certificate is granted to a person who is a permanent resident of the state or who has lived in the state for more than 6-years. This certificate can be used to take benefit from various schemes, scholarships, etc. introduced by the government. The certificate can be obtained from the Revenue Department, District Collector office, Sub-divisional Magistrate, Tehsildar administration. A fee of 60 rupees needs to be paid for the processing of the document. One can secure the certificate within 30-days from the application date. However, many states will assign a certificate after a person has remained in the state for several years, that is as defined by the government. Several proofs that may be required when filling in the proof form include Adhar / Pan card, passport photo, address proof (such as utility bills), etc. For the online demand of the certificate, people can get help from the official website. This rule is applicable for 85% of the seats. While the rest of the 15% of seats are reserved for the non-native students of Tamil Nadu.
