MCC AIQ MBBS Details

MCC (Medical Counseling Committee) AIQ (All India Quota) MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) details for admission to medical colleges in India were as follows:

  1. Counseling Process: MCC conducts online counseling for the 15% All India Quota seats in government medical colleges across India.
  2. Eligibility: To be eligible for AIQ MBBS seats, candidates must have qualified the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) and obtained the minimum qualifying percentile as set by the authorities.
  3. Counseling Registration: Candidates who are eligible for AIQ MBBS seats need to register on the official MCC website and participate in the counseling process.
  4. Choice Filling and Locking: During the counseling process, candidates have the opportunity to choose and prioritize their preferred medical colleges and courses. After making the choices, they must lock their preferences before the specified deadline.
  5. Seat Allotment: Based on the choices made by candidates, their NEET-UG rank, and the availability of seats, MCC conducts multiple rounds of seat allotment. Candidates who are allocated a seat in a particular round can either accept the seat or choose to participate in further rounds.
  6. Reporting to Allotted College: After the seat allotment, candidates must report to the allocated medical college within the specified time frame and complete the admission formalities.

We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
