The NTA conducts NEET every year for the students who want to make their career in the field of Medicals.  NEET is one of the most difficult papers and more than 18 Lakh students appeared for the exam in year 2022. The cut off varies for the different category like  General, OBC, SC/ST, EWS,PH,BC etc. The most expected cut off for NEET UG  can be analyzed by the data of previous years cut off . Students are waiting for the NEET cut off to release officially but there is still some time for the publication of the NEET cut off 2022. Students will get their All India Rank in the NEET result and also the category wise cut off for qualifying the NEET exam is mentioned in the NEET result itself.

As per the previous trends the NEET cut off for the general category was 50 percentile, for the OBC, SC/ST it is 40 percentile and for the UR PH it is 45 percentile. But there are opening and closing ranks for the different categories in the various colleges of India. Although for getting into AIIMS one needs to be within All India Rank between the range of  50 to 55.

During the counseling round the students will get to know about the cut off for the different government colleges of India , and if some students are not getting any college under the central they can try in the state  government colleges and for that they will have to wait for State wise opening and closing ranks and then go for further process.

The factors affecting the rank of the students in the NEET exam are:

  • The number of students appeared in the exam 
  • The total number of seats available 
  • The difficulty level of the exam

How to check NEET 2022 result:

The Students can check result of their NEET exam on the official website neet.nta.nic.in, click on the result link provided and then login through credentials and your scores will be displayed.

Way to calculate the percentile in NEET exam :

  • If you have scored rank 100 in NEET, and the total number of students appeared in the exam is 10,00000
  • The percentile can be calculated as : [(10,00000-100)/10,00000] X 100 = 99.99
