Crucial events related to the NEET UG 2022 

The NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) examination is for granting admission to medical aspirants and also other programmes. The exam NEET UG 2022 was conducted and almost 18 lakh students appeared for it. The NTA (National Testing Agency) will now release the provisional solution key on the official website- neet.nta.nic.in.

The major events are stated in this article. They are as follows:

  1. Provisional answer key, OMR sheets and question paper: The NEET exam had ended. Now the NTA will upload the provisional answer key including the response sheets of the candidates as well as question papers in the website- neet.nta.nic.in.
  2. Portal to raise objections: The candidates having problem with the answer key can raise questions online by paying some fee.
  3. Objections are reviewed and publish of final answer key: After that, the NTA will check the objections by the students. Then, the final answer key is published in the NTA website.
  4. Result of NEET, cut-off and list of rank: lastly, NTA will release the NEET result along with cut-off marks for admissions in medical programmes. The authority will also provide with the all India rank list to the authority associated with counselling process. The responsibility of NTA is concluded in this step.
  5. AIQ, State quota counselling registration: Then the procedure of counselling starts. According to the list sent by the NTA, state as well as central bodies of counselling provide rank lists for 85% state quota and 15% AIQ (All India Quota) seats. In the meantime, candidates enrol for the counselling and put choices for their preferred institution.
  6. Provisional allotment result: On the basis of rank of the students and choices, the counselling authority provides provisional allotment lists. Then the selected candidates can go for admission. The procedure of counselling carries on in several rounds.
  7. Arriving to the allotted institute for admission procedure: Lastly, candidates has to visit the allotted institute of medicine to take admission.
