NEET 2021 Counselling: date declared or not?

 

Every year, thousands of medical science aspirants are getting admission in India, for medicine through NEET exam. This year also the exam was conducted on 12th September 2021. The result is also out in the official website. Now, the applicants are patiently waiting for the process of counseling, to get admission in the medical colleges in India. The students believes that the Medical counseling Committee (MCC) will shortly start the process of counseling, that too in various parts of the country. 

 

The counseling will be conducted under the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), through its official website. Also, MCC notices that the students should be careful about the fraud activities in the name of MCC. The students will get direct letters for allotments, to be downloaded from the official website only, when they are selected. Any person, who gets 15%marks additional to the NEET 2021 cut off, will get the chance to register for seats through All India Quota (AIQ). For this they should register for the respective category through the official website of MCC.

 

The MCC has not given any updates about the dates for Counseling, till now. But the applicants expect very soon declaration of the dates regarding counseling process. 

 

NEET counseling 2021- how to register:

The candidates have to complete the registration for the counseling through the official website of MCC ( www.mcc.nic.in ).  In this they have to click the option for new registration, given in the portal for counseling. Once after entering the necessary details, the candidate should pay two types of registration fee, in order to complete the registration successfully. There will be two types of fees, namely registration fee and security fee (registration fee is refundable and security fee is non- refundable). The MCC do not allow for making modification in the form, so before submission, the candidate should go twice or thrice through all the details entered. 

The allotment will be generally based on the rank of the candidate in All India level, and the criteria of selection by the specific college.

General details for the students who are going for NEET counseling 2021:

  • The candidate should report at the particular medical college, within the time allowed by the authorities, once you complete the online counseling successfully.
  • Everyone should clearly check the necessary documents and papers before reaching the college itself. Also keeping one or two copy for all the documents will be good.

 

  • Necessary documents includes :
  • Admit card – NEET 2021
  • Rank paper or score card – NEET 2021
  • Certificate and mark sheet of 10th standard
  • Certificate and mark sheet of 12th standard
  • ID proof – it should be issued by government, and must be valid and not expired
  • Photographs – it is better to have 8 photographs of the students. Also it will be better if the photo is same that given in the exam application form
  • Certificate to prove the caste (if needed)
  • Certificate proving disability (if needed)
  • Letter of provisional allotment – downloaded from the official website
