NEET 2021 Counselling: MCC Counselling Schedule and AIIMS Reservation Updates.

 

NEET UG counselling  2021 to be starting soon. The counselling is conducted for admissions in undergraduate medical courses. The proper schedule for the medical counselling will be uploaded on the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)-. mcc.nic.in

 

Candidates who will be scoring above the NEET cut-off  2021 can claim for the 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ) by registering themselves at mcc.nic.in .The NEET UG counselling is the basis for admission in medical and allied courses in India.

 

The counselling procedure consists of registration, fess payment, choice filling, choice locking, processing for seat allotment followed by  result and reporting.

 

NEET counselling includes 15 percent of  seats for the students under the All India Quota (AIQ) at government colleges. The AIQ is not  students who are residents of Jammu and Kashmir.The counselling also includes seats for central and deemed universities,seats available at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune and seats reserved for children of Insured Persons (IP quota) in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) medical colleges.

 

The remaining 85 percent of state quota seats  will be directed  by local state authorities for state government and private medical,dental colleges.NEET UG counselling on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee will be administered by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

 

MCC Counselling 2021: AIIMS Reservation

AIIMS abides by the reservation policy of the Central Government of India. This is applied only on seats contributed by AIIMS to the All India Quota.

 

The reservations are implemented on basis of the categories.For Scheduled Castes,SC- 15 percent,forScheduled Tribes ,ST- 7.5 per cent,for Other Backward Classes,OBC- 27 per cent (non-creamy layer), Public works Department,PwD- 5 per cent horizontal reservation and Economically Backward Classes,EWS- 10 per cent.

We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
