Eligibility criteria for UP NEET counseling 2021.

 

The UP NEET 2021 counseling for admission in the Medical colleges for MBBS/BDS courses is conducted by The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow.

To get admitted into the medical colleges of UP the candidates must fulfill the domicile criteria of the state along with clearing the NEET entrance.

 

The registrations for UP MBBS BDS counseling 2021 will be done in the online mode only on their official website- dgme.up.in.

After the registration the students have to undergo through the document verification process.

 

UP NEET 2021 counseling is conducted for providing admission to 6,428 MBBS seats and 2,251 BDS seats in 32 medical and 23 dental colleges.

 

The domicile criteria for NEET UP-

 

The students must meet at least one eligibility criteria for the domicile. Meeting up the domicile criteria is must to get eligible for giving an attempt in NEET entrance.

 

  • The candidate must be a native of UP and his or her parents should be the residents of the state.
  • Their parents must have resided in the state of UP for at least 3 years of tenure.
  • The parents must be working with the government of India.
  • There’s no need to furnish the domicile if the student has completed the 10+2 from the UP state itself.
  • And if the candidate has completed their 10+2 from UP they are required to provide their parent’s resident proof.

 

In the UP counseling process the candidates are also required to do the choice filling of the colleges they prefer to study in.

The Allotment of medical college will be on the basis of choice filling and the NEET score of the candidate. One can fill a number of medical colleges while choosing filling.

The allotment of medical colleges will be on the basis of available seats, candidate’s All India Rank, criteria of reservation,and several such factors.

We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
