Clarification by NTA regarding AIQ and State Quota Counselling for NEET 2021.

 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has elucidated  that the agency itself will be responsible for conducting the exams, declaring the results and issuing the merit list  of  NEET UG  on the basis of All India rank.

The responsibility of NEET UG counselling goes to the state and central medical counselling committees including Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The results of 

NEET UG 2021 had been declared on November 1 by NTA.

 

NTA conducts and declares the exam results on the basis of the eligibility criteria suggested by the National Medical Commission. Candidates were advised to provide their category details as per National Category List, on this basis results were declared.

 

The merit list has been declared by NTA with  the All India Ranks for MBBS/BDS seats that come under their jurisdiction. Category should be mentioned as per the state category list while applying  to their State. The merit list will be made accordingly by the State Counselling Authorities. The same implements for the domicile too. NTA is not responsible for variation in data, no role of NTA here imply.

 

On behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) administers the NEET UG counselling.Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) are included in the central counselling committees. Counseling dates for NEET 2021 UG medical seats  are yet to be announced.

 

Counseling will include the verification of eligibility criteria, self-declaration, and other various documents  as per the specified norms of respective medical college authorities. NTA doesn’t take the responsibility regarding the correctness of documents during the application process.

We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
