The category wise merit list for NEET MBBS/ BDS of Gujarat

The merit list of Gujarat NEET 2022 will be released by the ACPUGMEC (Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses), Gujarat. The merit list for NEET is mainly of two types – One for the AIQ published by the central authority for counselling of NEET and the other one is for state published by the individual state authority. In AIQ 15% seats is reserved and in state 85% seats is reserved. The merit list will be released soon by the authority of Gujarat. 

The NTA will put only the names of those candidates who have secured minimum cut off marks in NEET UG 2022 in the merit list. The candidates should also register and must fulfil the eligibility criteria that are set by the authorities of Gujarat MBBS 2022 merit list.

The total MBBS seats is 3203 and 900 seats for BDS in both the government as well as private colleges of medicine. 

The percentile as per category is as follows:

Category Minimum percentile
General 50th Percentile
SC/ST/OBC 40th Percentile
General-PH 45th Percentile
SC/ST/OBC-PH 40th Percentile

 

Tie breaking process for Gujarat NEET 2022

The mechanism is as follows:

  1. Higher marks in class 12th will take the higher position in merit list.
  2. The candidate with greater marks in Biology will get the greater position in merit list if the tie still persists.
  3. If the tie still persists then Physics marks is considered.
  4. The English marks is considered if the tie still continues.
  5. Marks of class 10th is considered if the tie still continues.
  6. Lastly the age of the candidates is seen to prepare the merit list

The process for downloading the Gujarat Merit List is as follows:

The merit list will be available on the website of ACPUGMEC in Gujarat.

  1. First click on link
  2. Then search for your name in the merit list according to your category.
  3. If your name is present then you will be called for the process of counselling.
  • The merit list mentions the following:
  • Name of the candidates
  • Candidate’s roll number
  • User ID
  • All India Rank
  • State Rank
  • Category
  • NEET score
  • NEET percentile
  • Other details

The committee that is authorized will manage the process of counselling. The process of counselling will start by online registration which is followed by the process of choice filling, allotment of seats, reporting etc. The entire process for Gujarat NEET UG 2022 counselling process will be held online. The applicant must bring their documents during physical visit to the college for verification.
