Tamil Nadu: MBBS /BDS FEES TO BE PAID TO SSC?

On Wednesday the Director of Medical Education of Tamil Nadu Dr R Narayana Babu stated that as soon as the NTA will give the mark list to the State, the state will start the application process of MBBS and BDS admission for the academic year 2022-23.

Just like it happened last year the medical counseling procedure will be offline for this year too, but the counseling for the general category will be online and 7.5% seat reservation for the students from the government school.

From this year the students will have to submit fees of course to the Secretary Selection Committee who will revert it to the respective colleges so that no extra fees is charged he, added.

In Chennai out of 37 government medical colleges,20  are self-financing, 2 are government and 20 self-financing BDS colleges.

From this year 569 seats will be kept reserved under the 7.5% quota for the government school students. Out of this 325 MBBS seats are government medical colleges, 130 in self-financing colleges, 13 BDS seats in government colleges and 101 in self-financing dental colleges

We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
