Karnataka MBBS Entrance Requirements?

 

The overall admissions schedule for the Karnataka MBBS programme will be made public by KEA following the release of the NEET 2022 results. The NEET medical entrance exam, which determines admission to undergraduate programmes, was held in July. Before announcing the dates for NEET 2022 counselling, the NTA will announce the results. To dispel any lingering questions regarding the applicants for the medical entrance exam, we do, however, present the admissions procedure and the cut-off from the previous year.

 

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Bangalore, is in charge of handling the medical counselling for MBBS admission in Karnataka. For NEETs, the state will provide online counselling. For the Karnataka MBBS admission 2022, only applicants who have passed the NEET UG and satisfy the state domicile conditions may register at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. The whole timeline for the Karnataka MBBS admission process will be made public by KEA following the release of the NEET 2022 results.

 

MBBS admission process in Karnataka

During the counselling process, candidates would be required to submit their preferred colleges and courses for admission to the Karnataka NEET 2022.

Here are the specifics of the complete admissions process:

  • The Karnataka MBBS programme requires applicants to submit an online application and go through a document verification process.
  • The Karnataka MBBS merit list will be made available to qualified candidates based on registration.
  • The state merit list will be used to execute the Karnataka MBBS counselling for 100% of private college seats and 85% of state quota seats.

Admissions will be handled by the Karnataka MBBS/BDS counselling for both the 85% state quota and all private colleges. Through the counselling process, admission will be granted for a total of 10,145 MBBS seats and 3,445 BDS seats.
