GGSIPU Schedule for First Counselling/Admission to the MTech. (R&A) (Regular)

Venue of counselling: Sector-16C, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078, University School of Information, Communication & Technology (USIC&T), Room No. 315, 3rd Floor, E-Block. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

 

  • There will be two phases to the M.Tech. (R&A) programme counselling. To guarantee their attendance for both stages, the candidate must study the timetable for both. The GATE Score Card will be verified in the first phase.
  • For “Verification of Documents” and “Seat Allotment,” candidates must appear in person at the venue for counselling that has been announced if they are GATE qualified with a valid score card for the M.Tech. (R&A), CET Code-156. Alternatively, they may send their documents via email to the email address usict@ipu.ac.in
  • The GATE qualified candidates are required to provide the following documents:
  • In person at Room No. between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. E-Block, 3rd Floor, EFC-315 USIC&T latest by 24.08.2022.
  • By Email upto 10:00 PM upto 24.08.2022 positively.
  • The self-adhered copy of the GATE qualifying certificate or GATE score card is the document that must be submitted.
  • The claim for admission to the study programme will be rejected if the documents are not submitted on time.
  • On August 25, 2022, the GATE qualifying applicants’ merit list will be announced.
  1. The counselling session will take place on August 27, 2022, for applicants who have passed the GATE as well as those who have passed the CET.
  2. The specifics of the schedule for the counselling to be held on August 27, 2022, must be communicated by August 25, 2022, at the latest.

 

  • Candidates must consult Chapter 6th “Reservation Policy, Part-A” of the University’s Admission Brochure 2022–23 for the University’s reservation policy, as well as any updates provided by GGSIP University from time to time.
  • Refer to the Admission Brochure 2022-23 for the eligibility requirements for candidates seeking an M.Tech. (R&A) under CET Code 156 (Regular Programme).
  • The allocation of seats for admission will take place in the second phase. On August 27, 2022, candidates who have both GATE and CET qualifications must attend admissions counselling.
  • Documents Needed for Seat Allocation and Verification:
  1. A bank draft for Rs. 1,33,000 (including Rs. 1,000 for the one-time, non-refundable counselling processing fee) should be made out to the registrar of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and made payable in Delhi. The candidate will fill out the reverse of the bank draft with the following information: name, date of admission, phone number, address, and cellphone number; name of the programme; CET Rank; and CET Roll Number (s).
  2. Four passport-sized photos (same as that in admit card)
  3. The original, qualified GATE score card, if applicable.
  4. Original experience certificate, if applicable.
  5. Original CET-2022 Admit Card and CET-2022 Result.
  6. Acopy of the admissions verification form (Copy of Admission verification form as per Appendix 6 in Part-E of Admission Brochure 2022-23.)
  7. Secondary School Mark-sheet & Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth (Original and Photocopy)
  8. Mark-sheets / Certificates of Qualifying Examination: The candidate must provide the Original Certificates / Mark-sheets of all the year-wise or semester-wise qualifying examinations in addition to a photocopy of each.
  9. Physical Fitness Certificate: According to the format specified in Performa of Medical Certificate in Part-E of the Admission Brochure 2022–23, all students are expected to submit a Medical Certificate demonstrating fitness from a Registered Medical Practitioner (As per Appendix 5).
  10. Reservation Certificate: All candidates for reserved seats in the UR&EWS/SC/ST/DEF/PWD categories must provide their reservation certificates in original form and a self-attested photocopy in order to be considered for a seat in the designated category. The Defence Category candidates must additionally provide a fully completed copy of Appendix 1. The Appendices can be found in Admission Brochure 2022–2023 Part E.
  11. A conduct and character certificate in original, not older than 06 (six) months, from the head of the institution where the qualifying examination was passed or from a gazetted officer.
  12. Application for any relevant approvals regarding any age or other relaxation (if necessary).
  13. At the time of document verification and seat assignment, the candidate requesting a reservation against the UR&EWS category must present a certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
  • Seat Matrix: According to the rules, CET-qualified applicants should be awarded admission after GATE-qualified applicants (with a valid GATE score card). At the time of counselling, a detailed seat matrix will be on show.

  1. The Admission Brochure Part-A through Part-E for the Academic Session 2022–23, as announced by the University, should be read by all candidates.
