No Counseling for UP NEET UG 2023 Next Year, Last Chance to Join through Stray Vacancy

In the latest announcement, aspirants who abort admission in their allotted colleges in the Stray vacancy round will be disqualified. These aspirants will get no chance to participate in the UP NEET UG counseling next year, as per the revised order of UP NEET UG 2023 counseling.

In UP NEET UG – Stray vacancies are released for unoccupied seats just after the Mop-up round counseling. The concept of “Stray Vacancy” was introduced in 2011 for proper management of seats nationwide.

The DGME Office (Director General Medical Education) has finished the round 2 NEET UG 2023 Counseling. Now, the seat allotment process is completed and aspirants are supposed to arrive in colleges soon. As a next step, There is an execution of the Mop-up round.

According to the order – The aspirants should take admission to allotted seats via stray vacancy. If they do the opposite, they will be disqualified from attending the UP NEET UG 2023 counseling for the 2024-25 session. And the security amount will likewise be abandoned.

This move will likewise place an beware of private universities that in the past were found taking confirmation against empty seats all alone.

If an aspirant is unable to secure a seat in earlier counseling, then the aspirant is eligible for this vacancy. Apart from any circumstances, the aspirant is prohibited from attending the stray vacancy counseling.

Important Instructions

  • “ Stray vacancy is the last option for MBBS/BDS in the state, including total vacant seats. This is mandatory that sincere aspirants attend it,” said Dr Abhishek Shukla, secretary General Association of International Doctors.
  • For attending the stray vacancy round, a new registration of 1000/- fee is compulsory. For Government institutions – 30,000/-, for private institutions – 2,00,000/- and for dental institutions – 1,00,000/- should be deposited as a security amount.
  • Bring only original certificates such as caste, education, etc. If the aspirants do the opposite, they will be disqualified.
