NEET UG 2022: number of choices, crucial documents and other details

The MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) will start the counselling procedure for All India Quota (AIQ) and the notifications will be provided in the official website- mcc.nic.in.

The Rounds for NEET UG Counselling, 2022

The counselling for NEET UG 2022, will be in 2 rounds. One is the mop up round and the other one is a final vacancy round. The seats that will be left after the Mop-up round will be provided to the State level agencies that will be utilised in the rounds of state quota.

Moreover, for the Deemed Universities, the round for stray vacancy will be carried on in individual deemed to be Universities.

The number of Choices for one student in NEET UG Counselling:

The choice of colleges for individual student is limitless. The candidates have to submit newly formed lists in individual rounds. The choices of colleges have to be made accurately. 

The important documents required for counselling of NEET:

  • The candidates first have to submit their academic documents during the time of confirmation of their seats.
  • Then, for the counselling the students need to update the information that has been asked in the form. The documents will include mark sheets of class 10 and 12, birth certificates, valid caste certificate, rank card of NEET and Allotment card that will be issued by the MCC.

We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
