NEET Counseling 2021 is the most awaited process of the past year. The process, which lagged mainly due to the cases in Supreme Court, is now heading for a restart, where people expect completion in a speedy manner.  The MCC, after the Supreme Court’s recent verdict, is planning to start the registration for counseling from January 12th, for All India Quota seats. Here, this article is to provide some important details on NEET PG Counseling 2021.

Registration  Starts on January 12th 2022 (02.00 pm onwards)
Filling application form and choices January 13- 17, 2022
Verification of candidates January 18-19, 2022
Allotment of seats January 21st 2022
Counseling Round 1 results January 22nd  2022
Reporting for round 1 admission January 23-28, 2022
Round 2 counseling February 3-7, 2022
Round 3 February 24-28, 2022

Registration procedure
  • Select UG/ PG counseling tab, from official website of MCC.
  • Click register and fill required details.
  • Register and log in to the page.
  • Fill the application and upload documents.
  • Pay the application fee, and submit the application.
  • Download and print the form, for reference in future.
Registration fee (AIQ seats, Central University, ESIC, DNB seats)
  • unreserved  and EWS =  1000/-
  • SC, ST, OBC, PwD = 500/-
  • For deemed universities = 5000/-
Required documents for NEET Counseling
  • NEET 2021 Admit card
  • NEET 2021 Result
  • NEET 2021 online application form
  • Age proof – 10th certificate
  • 12th certificate/ score sheet
  • Aadhar card

 

  • The NEET 2021 counseling will have four rounds. 
  • In the counseling process, the seats given for NRI, Minorities (Muslim, Jain etc.) will remain unfilled, until the mop-up round. It will be converted for Indian National Seats, once it get remain unfilled even after the mop-up round.
  • The seats remaining after two rounds, in central universities will be converted to State Quota seats, after the second round of counseling itself. 
  • The cut off percentile for each category is-

General/ Unreserved, EWS = 50 percentile (score 302/800)

SC, ST, OBC = 40 percentile (265)

PwD unreserved = 45 percentile (283)

  • Candidates can fill choices according to their interest (no regulations). The allotment will be given based on the choices and preferences of the candidates. 
  • Along with other documents, keep a copy of community certificate and disability certificate, if needed.
  • Check official website of MCC, for regular updates on counseling process 
  • The UG counseling will also begin shortly, as the associations like FORDA has demanded to complete admission as soon as possible.
