JEE Main 2021 Postponed: Know the status of BITSAT, KCET, EAMCET, and other engineering entrance exams

The April and May sessions of JEE Main 2021 exam have been postponed by National Testing Agency (NTA). Upsurge in cases has to lead to a change in the timetable of exams.

Many engineering entrance examinations are rescheduled as an increase in the number of cases are seen. The application process for these exams is also prolonged. The April and May sessions of JEE Main 2021 exam have been postponed by NTA due to the rapid rise in the number of cases of COVID-19. Below is a list of various exams and their current status.

Joint Entrance Exam Main – JEE Main 2021

The February and March sessions of JEE-Mains 2021 have been conducted triumphantly. But due to the upsurge in cases April and May JEE sessions are been postponed. Dates for these sessions would be notified later.

Joint Entrance Exam Advanced- JEE Advanced 2021

JEE Advanced 2021 will be conducted by IIT Kharagpur on July 3. But as the dates for JEE-Mains have shifted it’s likely for JEEAdvanced to be also shifted.

VIT Engineering Entrance Exam- VITEEE 2021

Exam dates for VITEEE 2021 have been revised to 28, 29, 31 by the Vellore Institute of Technology. Now, this exam would be conducted remote-proctored home-based exam. Changes in the VITEEE exam pattern are also made. Previously dates for this exam were June 18-26 2021 and the exam was also going to be conducted in its regular pattern i.e. center-based online test. Application forms will be available till May 20, 2021.

SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam- SRMJEEE 2021

Recently, a notification has been released by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology regarding the SRMJEEE 2021 exam. As per the notification SRMJEEE, 2021 will be conducted in 2 different phases.

Phase 1 exam date will be May 23 and 24 and the application date will be till May 15. Phase 2 exam date will be July 25 and 26 and the application date will be till July 20

Karnataka Common Entrance Test- KCET 2021

The KCET 2021 exam dates have been released by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The statement released by KEA states that the exam will be conducted on July 7 & 8. Dates for the application process, the release of the admit card will be announced soon.

Birla Institute of Science and Technology Admission Test- BITSAT 2021

Submission of the application form for BITSAT 2021 will be closed by BITS Pilani on May 29. The application form was released on February 23. The exam is scheduled from June 24-30.

Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test- TS EAMCET 2021

The application form for TS EAMCET 2021 was released by JNTU Hyderabad on March 20. Lat date for application of TS EAMCET 2021 is May 18. For different stream TS EAMCET 2021 dates are

Agriculture- July 5-6

Engineering- July 7-9

The 25% weightage criteria for TS EAMCET 2021 was also ended this year.

The consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test- COMEDK UGET 2021

The application form for COMEDK UGET will be open till May 20. on March 22 application process was started. The COMEDK UGET is scheduled for June. Till today 2 mock tests are released are the authority. There will be the availability of a total of 6 mock tests till the exam date.

Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination- JEECUP 2021

The last date for submission of the application process of JEECUP 2021 was extended from April 15 to April 30. And due to COVID-19, this date was extended again till May 15. The application form was released on February 26. The date for the exam is from June 15 to 20.
