How to calculate NEET score using the answer key

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2023 exam was conducted on 7 May. NTA is soon going to release the answer key of NEET-UG for admission to medical colleges. The release date for the answer key is not yet announced. But according to sources, the result of NEET-UG is going to be released by the end of the month, i.e., May.
Aspirants can download the answer key from the official website- neet.nta.nic., once the link is activated. Until then, let’s check how to calculate your NEET-UG 2023 score using the answer key and the OMR sheet.

Marking Scheme:
Every correct answer will be awarded 4 marks, whereas every incorrect answer will reduce your score by 1 mark. In case of an unattempted question or multiple option question, 0 marks will be awarded.

The Answer key:
Aspirants after downloading their OMR sheet along with the Answer key, can follow the following steps to calculate their NEET scores:
Note down the NEET question id from the answer key and response sheet.
Match the answers of the question id in NEET answer key and your OMR sheet.
Calculate the quantity of accurate and inaccurate responses.
Now add four marks for every correct answer and for every incorrect answer deduct 1 mark.

We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
