Haryana MBBS 2023 Counselling Process

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana, administers the Haryana NEET 2023 counselling procedure for eligible candidates. The official website, dmer.haryana.gov.in, will provide the most recent information on Haryana NEET counselling, including important dates and updates.

To register for the Haryana NEET counselling, eligible candidates must register before the last date. The Haryana MBBS 2023 merit list will be published online, mentioning the names of NEET 2023 qualified students who are eligible for counselling. The counselling process for Haryana NEET 2023 will consist of three rounds, including a mop-up round. During the counselling, seat allotment will be based on the choices filled by the candidates, their NEET 2023 rank, seat availability, and reservation criteria.

DMER will manage the admissions for Haryana NEET 2023 in government and government-aided colleges, specifically for the 85% state quota seats. Whereas, the counselling for the remaining 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats will be conducted by the DGHS on behalf of the MCC. The Haryana MBBS BDS counselling for 2023 aims to manage admission to a total of 1835 MBBS seats and 950 BDS seats.

Here is the list of Documents required for the counselling process:

  1. Mark sheet of class 10th and 12th.
  2. For candidates belonging to the NRI quota- An equivalency certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities.
  3. Birth Certificate.
  4. Character certificate.
  5. Aadhaar card. 
  6. Resident certificate (if applicable).
  7. Category certificate (if applicable).
  8. NEET scorecard.
  9. NEET 2023 admit card.
  10. Receipt of registration and counselling fee.

 

Haryana NEET 2023 counselling process:

Following are the steps for the counselling process-

  1. The two rounds of Haryana MBBS/BDS 2023 counselling will be conducted in online mode, followed by the mop-up round in offline mode.
  2. Candidates will have to do fresh registration for each round of counselling.
  3. DMER, Haryana will release the merit list after each round of counselling depending upon the application received.
  4. Then category-wise merit list for Haryana MBBS admission 2023 will be released. Along with this, the merit list for government-aided medical and dental colleges and private medical and dental colleges will be released.
  5. The candidates have to participate in the process of choice filling and locking process if they have their names on the merit list.
  6. The seats will be allotted based on the choice filled by the candidates, their NEET 2023 scores, seat availability and reservations.
  7. The seat allotment will be published online in PDF format.
  8. To confirm the seats, candidates will have to report to the colleges.

Candidates will have to report to the allotted institute within the given time period. If there are any seats vacant in private colleges under state quota after the two rounds of online counselling, those seats will be converted into management quota seats.
