MCC NEET UG Counselling 2025: Round 3 Registration Begins — Who’s Eligible?

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to open registrations for Round 3 of NEET UG 2025 counselling starting September 29, 2025.  This final major round offers hope to candidates who were not allotted seats in earlier rounds or wish to upgrade.

📅 Round 3 Key Dates (Tentative)

  • Registration / Fee Payment: September 29 – October 5

  • Choice Filling / Locking: September 30 – October 5

  • Seat Allotment Result: October 8

  • Reporting to Colleges: October 9 – 17

✅ Who Is Eligible for Round 3?

To participate in Round 3, candidates must meet these conditions:

  1. Qualified in NEET UG 2025
    Only those who secured at least the cutoff marks in NEET UG become eligible for MCC counselling.

  2. Not allotted a seat in earlier rounds or seeking an upgrade
    Those who did not get a seat in Round 1 or Round 2, or those who wish to improve their existing allotment, can register for Round 3.

  3. Comply with quota and reservation norms
    Seats under 15% All-India Quota, as well as seats in deemed, central, AIIMS, JIPMER, and other institutes, will be part of this round.
    Also, reservations (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) and horizontal reservations (PwD) will apply as per regulations.

  4. Adhere to schedule and deadlines
    Registering late or failing to lock choices within the timeline may render the candidate ineligible for the round.

📌 Tips Before You Register

  • Double-check your previous allotment status—if you already have a confirmed seat, you may or may not be allowed to participate (based on MCC rules).

  • Keep your NEET scorecard, identity proofs, category certificates, and other documents ready for verification.

  • Carefully fill and lock your choices; changes may not be possible after the deadline.

  • Remember, this is one of the last chances. After Round 3, a Stray Vacancy Round may follow for leftover seats.

We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
