NMC Gazette 2019 impact on students

The National Medical Commission (NMC) of India had made some rules and regulations for the students studying medicine in abroad  , and many of these students did not take it very seriously and are now facing problems. It was already told to students to be in contact with the Indian embassies , although the list of countries was not mentioned by the NMC of India but a very clear signal was given to the students to be in touch with the embassies.

The guideline stated that the students should be pursing medical course of about 54 months or more and medium should also be English , with 12 month of Internship in the country they are going for studies.

Also , there are many countries which offer course duration of about only 48 months for MBBS equivalent course and hence Indian students are not allowed to go and pursue medical there as per the guidelines . Due to Covid-19 many student’s future got affected especially of these medical students who had plans of going to abroad to pursue medicine.

Although the NMC has given some relaxation to the students who took admission before this guideline was published but this relaxation will not there for the students opted for BS course which is a pre medical course .

Client Testimonial

MBBS Abroad is a big decision and your success depends upon the honesty of your consultant. It is a long process starting from choosing the right college to reaching there at college door step and finally studying there for next 5-6 years. You are in a new country without many old friends. We were sure to approach a consultant who is based out of our district only so that not only during admission but for next 6 years, we can have smooth interactions. So, we approached GKWorks as they have a branch in Saharanpur. As we anticipated, there are lot of things to be done during admission process that goes for 3-4 months. At every step, it was useful for us to have our consultant who was only 20 minutes’ drive from our home. We were able to discuss everything face to face any day and thus were able to have easy process.
