NEET UG, PG 2021 State Counseling 

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has requested state counseling bodies to amend their counseling schedules in light of the extending of UG and PG medical counseling sessions for  AIQ seats.

New Delhi:  MCC has requested regional counseling organizations to amend their counseling plans in light of the extending of UG and PG medical counseling sessions for AIQ seats. After the Medical Counseling Commission has completed the all-India counseling, it recommends that state consultation be performed per round.

“As a result, states are recommended to reevaluate there own timeline so each series of state allotment counseling  takes place after AIQ the Counseling undertaken by MCC of DGHS according to the orders passed by Honorable Supreme Court of India, according to an MCC assertion.


The UG and PG counseling schedules have been prolonged in response to court rulings in numerous cases involving counselling  occasionally.

The notification came after the MCC of DGHS got requests from state DMEs requesting that the state counseling timetable be revised because the schedules of All in Quota Undergraduate and Postgraduate counselling administered by MCC of DGHS and state counseling conflict.


“Therefore in respect, it is stated that, as a general rule, state counseling per round shall be performed once MCC has finished Whole Country Counseling for the relevant round,” MCC says.
