NEET PG – for specialized medical degrees


The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Post Graduate or NEET PG for medical doctors is opened now up to February 4th, for application for MD, MS and PG Diploma courses. Completing these MD, MS or PG Diploma courses are considered as getting professional excellence in medical practicing. 

The test will be conducted on March 12th, 2022, from 09.00 am onwards, in different test centers. The test centers, which are already confirmed includes- Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangaluru, Kasargode, Kozhikode, Kannur, Malappuram, Thrissur, Idukki, Eranakulam, Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, Kollam, Alappuzha and Trivandrum. The test centers will be allotted on the basis of first come first.

The NBE also provides options for editing the application form, from 24 to 27 in February. If any corrections are there in the application, candidates can modify it in this period. The test will be conducted according to the MBBS Syllabus, recognized by old Indian Medical Council. Candidates who apply must have completed their internship, after clearing MBBS, before May 31, 2022. They will be demanded to submit medical council registration document, during the time of exam. Also, MBBS graduates from abroad are requested to clear Foreign Medical Graduates Screening Test, along with this.

Where will be the admission available?


Admissions will be available at central and state medical colleges/ institutions, on 50-50 percentage for State and All India quotas(in states and UTs). The candidates will be not forced to attend other entrance exams, in order to seek admissions in these institutions, for MD, MS or PG Diploma courses.
