Total of 82 medical colleges with total intake of 11800 seats have been dis approved to take admissions for year 2018-2019 session. The decision is taken by ministry of health and family welfare on recommnedations of medical council of India.
Out of 82 colleges, 15 are from Uttar Pradesh only this making it worst affected state. Please click the link below to see the complete list of MBBS colleges. Many old and reputed colleges are also part of the list. Interesting thing is not only private colleges but few Government colleges like Rajkiya Medical College, Jalaun ( UP), Govt. Medical College & Super Specialty Hosiptal, Azamgarh ( UP), Govt. Medical College (Shaikh-UlHind-Maulana Mohmood Hasan Medical College), Saharanpur ( UP), Govt. Medical College, Palakkad ( Kerela), Koppal Institute of Medical Sciences, Koppal ( karnataka) are also part of this list
